If you graduated from a university in the United Kingdom within the last 12 months, you can apply to stay in the United Kingdom to work once you have completed your studies.
TIER 1 (Post Study Work) - Supporting Documents:
You must submit original documents with your application.
1. FORMS:
Completed Points Based System Application form VAF 9
Completed Self-Assessment form PBS Appendix 4
If you have dependants applying at the same time completed
form VAF 10
2. PASSPORT & PHOTOGRAPH:
Submit Original passport. (Include old passports as well)
One photograph 2.5 X 4.5 cm, white background, Full face.
3. THE APPROPRIATE FEE:
Include the correct fee. Currently Rs.15,400/-

4. PERSONAL DETAILS SECTION:
If married, include evidence of your marital status
E.g. marriage / civil partnership certificate
If you have children, include their birth certificates
5. QUALIFICATIONS:
Include your original graduation certificate or letter from the
academic institution where you studied
- a UK recognised Bachelor or Postgraduate degree;
- a UK postgraduate certificate or diploma; or
- a higher national diploma (HND) from a Scottish institution
Proof to show this qualification was obtained within the last 12 months
Please note that the following qualifications are not acceptable:
Foundation degrees, Honorary degrees; qualifications awarded in the UK by overseas awarding bodies; including overseas campuses of the UK institutions; and professional and vocational qualifications.
6. FUNDS:
Include your original bankbook or bank statements showing
transactions, or account history, covering the last three months with a daily balance of not less than GBP 2800/- for primary applicant and GBP 1600/- for each applicant accompanying you.
The bank statements should clearly show:
Account name
Account Number
On Original bank headed paper
Please note that bank statements, which simply show the balance in the account on a
particular day are not acceptable, as these documents do not demonstrate that the applicant
has held sufficient funds for the period required.
