BALA K. CHANDRASEKHARAN holds a Master of Law in International
Law, Trade & Finance, Tulane Law School, Tulane
University, New Orleans, LA, USA and presently, a Partner
/ Advocate, M/s. BC & ASSOCIATES, Law Firm, Madras,
India since 1998. As a Consultant, Bala brings KARM
his immense understanding of practice with US law firms,
Indian firms and as a Corporate Counsel. His expertise
lies in International Contracts, IPR, Commercial and
Consumer matters. Bala has Lectured at the First American
Summer Law School Program held at Simla in June 1995
on “Comparative Perspective on Enforcement of
Foreign Awards in US & India” and “Affirmative
Action vs. Reservation Policies”. While in US
he has gained significant exposure to Asset based lending,
Investment, Negotiation and Contracts, apart from handling
dispute resolution issues in “International Contracts
& Enforcement of Foreign Awards”. As part
of his curriculum he worked with Prof. William A. Lovett,
Tulane Law School, New Orleans, LA in writing his book
“Markets, Government and Regulation” and
assisted in Updating West Law Series’ Nutshell
on Financial Institutions and Banking Laws. He holds
a Directed Research paper on Inarbitrability Defenses
in International Commercial Transactions for Eason Weinmann
Center for International Law, New Orleans, LA. In India,
